Surakshya Panta

Surakshya Panta is a prominent Nepalese actress, creative director, and producer who has made a significant impact on both domestic and international cinema. Born on February 20, 1992, in Butwal, Nepal, she initially pursued a technical career, earning a degree in civil engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College and later an MSc in Integrated Water Resources Management. Her transition into the entertainment industry began as a media personality and VJ before she made her acting debut in the 2015 film Ajhai Pani. She rose to widespread fame with her performance in the blockbuster Dhanapati (2017) and solidified her critical standing with her award-winning role in Aama (2019), for which she won the National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
